Nicholas Gomez, Junsu Im, Jordan Sato and Jacob Torres earned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition for averaging under 78.0 and achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
The four Vulcans were among 226 NCAA Division II athletes from 77 schools.
To be eligible, an individual must have held at least sophomore standing both academically and athletically. They must have participated in at least 50% of their team’s competitive rounds with a stroke average under 78.0 in Division II.
All four were also named to the Academic All-PacWest Team after helping 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo capture back-to-back Pacific West Conference Championships in April. Gomez claimed the individual title and was later named 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo’s 2023–24 Male Athlete of the Year. The team also earned 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo Vulcan Team of the Year honors.
