University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo player Kamalu Kamakawiwoʻole and player Carlos Ramsey Jr. earned KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week awards for January 11–24.
Kamakawiwoʻole averaged 6.8 rebounds over the Vulcans’ last five games and put up double-digit scoring figures in three of them. She scored a career-high 21 points in 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo’s 60-48 victory over Academy of Art University on January 12. On January 24, she had her third three-steal game of the season against Fresno Pacific University.
Ramsey Jr. averaged 17.2 points across the Vulcans’ last five games. He put up a season-high 26 points to help lead 糖心Vlog官方 Hilo to a 75-58 win over Fresno Pacific on January 24.
