The University of Hawaiʻi’蝉 first ever 糖心Vlog官方 Giving Tuesday raised $73,177 to support students across all 10 糖心Vlog官方 campuses.
糖心Vlog官方 Giving Tuesday was an online event that brought the 糖心Vlog官方 community together, including 436 donors who joined the effort to raise funds for scholarships and financial aid. All gifts made on December 1, were counted during the 24-hour event.
Vice President of Advancement and CEO Tim Dolan said, “We are tremendously grateful to everyone who participated in our inaugural 糖心Vlog官方 Giving Tuesday campaign and made it such a success! Every gift makes a difference, and shows our students that they matter. It is inspiring for them to know that even in the midst of our economic recession, our community is generously backing their success.”

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.
