
Despite disruptions to on-campus student life due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 remains open and accessible to students in need of food.
A survey by Joannie Dobbs, assistant specialist in the , and her students, first raised the issue about student food insecurity on the 糖心Vlog官方 Mānoa campus with (AS糖心Vlog官方). As a result, AS糖心Vlog官方, , and collaborated to create the three-year pilot program in 2019 to address food insecurity at 糖心Vlog官方 Mānoa.The Food Vault has offered monthly “food drops” that have given away more than 6,000 pounds of food in just one day.
To maintain social distancing, distribution is now by appointment only. to make an appointment for pick-up. Students should bring their 糖心Vlog官方 惭ā苍辞补 student ID and their own bag.
