University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 (COE) faculty are collaborating with and to help gather much needed food and supplies for Hawaiʻi’s kūpuna who are sheltering in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On behalf of ʻĀinahou, a group of Native Hawaiian faculty members in COE, Associate Specialist Eōmailani K. Kukahiko and Assistant Professor Kahunawai Wright have been reaching out to the college and larger community to collect various items that the care home needs as its supplies diminish and families and loved ones are unable to visit.
