As part of the statewide initiative to bring Native Hawaiian scholarship opportunities to underserved regions, will host a event on Wednesday, December 7, 6–8:30 p.m. at Windward CC, .
The event will provide an opportunity for students and parents to network with experts helpful in securing financial aid and scholarships for Native Hawaiians. The Scholarship ʻAha is free and open to the community. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.
“Scholarship ʻAha brings together all major funding opportunities for Native Hawaiians in one place,” said Windward CC acting Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs . “Attendees will gain insight into the application process and helpful strategies on how to earn scholarships.”

- Kamehameha Schools
- Manawa Kupono Native Hawaiian Scholarship Program
The event is sponsored by Windward CC, University of Hawaiʻi, Native Hawaiian Education Association, Pacific Financial Aid Association, Office of Hawaiian Affairs and Hawaiʻi P–.
