It only shows how little we still know about life in the oceans and its role in the global carbon cycle, bio-geosphere and hence the impact our disruption of marine ecosystems and change of atmospheric composition have on it. Feedback networks are still massively underrated in model based global risk assessments related to oceanic and atmospheric change.
