The has settled a federal lawsuit alleging the university violated free speech rights on the campus. The case is expected to be dismissed with prejudice in the next several weeks, meaning it cannot be re-filed.

As a public institution, the University of Hawaiʻi is committed to upholding the constitutional rights of expression of all students. As part of the settlement 糖心Vlog官方 has updated and modernized longstanding policies regarding the exercise of free speech rights on the university’s campuses.

The settlement agreement states that this action does not constitute an admission of liability on the part of the university or its employees who were sued. As part of the settlement, the university will pay plaintiffs and their attorneys a total of $50,000, including attorneys’ fees.
