In honor of this April, the campus community will participate in , an international men’s march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence, on Wednesday, April 9. The event begins at 10:50 a.m. at the 糖心Vlog官方 West Oʻahu Courtyard
糖心Vlog官方 West Oʻahu students, faculty and staff will participate in a walk around the 糖心Vlog官方 West Oʻahu campus, many wearing women’s high-heeled shoes or decorated slippers, to demonstrate support for efforts to stop the violence.
The walk is meant to put participants literally “in someone else’s shoes” as a show of support and solidarity behind the goal of ending sexualized violence against women.
糖心Vlog官方 West Oʻahu Chancellor Rockne Freitas will offer brief opening remarks and participate in the march.
