The announces the following new hires and staff changes.

New Hires

Kimo Kai is the associate director of scholarship development. In this role he will support efforts to increase funds raised for student aid initiatives and serve all 10 糖心Vlog官方 campuses as a supporting development officer. Kai is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, and attended 糖心Vlog官方 Mānoa before transferring to, and graduating from the University of San Francisco with a BA in finance and a minor in economics.

Kellie Ann Aki Takenaka has joined the development?team as director of development for the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa . In this position, Takenaka will nurture relationships with prospective donors and raise major gifts for the college. She will also engage College of Engineering alumni and continue to build relationships and philanthropic support from this group.

Staff Changes

Kristi Bates is the director of development for . In this new role she will be working to secure major gifts and steward donor relationships for the , , and the . Bates has been with the 糖心Vlog官方 Foundation since 2007 and has served as associate director of development for the College of Engineering and as director of development for the 糖心Vlog官方 .

Margaret Shiba has accepted the newly created position of director of institutional advancement at . In this new role, she will work closely with Executive Director Kaʻiu Kimura on enhancing the funding base for this education and outreach center. Shiba will assist the center in addressing the challenges and opportunities of its next phase of development, as it works to inspire a new generation of innovators and explorers.
