Jennifer just completed her second year in the MLISc program. She was recently hired as a Library Technician V at Kailua-Kona Public Library. In her new position, she says she is &#8220;enjoying familiarizing patrons with our print and electronic resources, assisting the branch manager with developing the adult collection, and assisting branch librarians with programming.&#8221; Jennifer hopes to use her degree to become a youth services librarian with the Hawaii State Public Library System.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jennifer Losalio has received a $2,000 scholarship from the Friends of the Libraries, Kona, to continue her LIS education.
