LIS 659 Students Process JCCH Papers

Jill Sommer鈥檚 students in LIS 659: Archival Access, Representation and Use processed papers from the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai鈥榠鈥檚 Archives. The class presentations clearly demonstrated how important it is to have trained archivists with diverse local knowledge. In the photo: Gail Kuroda is directly behind the cart. From left to right behind Gail are Johanna Sadorra, Jasmine Malone, Jennifer Duncklee, Jill Sommer (Instructor), Alohalani Paakaula-Lozier, Ho驶oleina Ioane, and Ani Kawada.
