Staying informed and meeting these requirements will help protect your status and support a smooth academic journey.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-14863-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"1\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h2 class=\"widget-title\">1. Check with the ISS office\u00a0 and your J program coordinator.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a J-1 Student Intern, you are not required to enroll in coursework but must follow the training plan (Form DS-7002) approved by your sponsor and ISS.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-14863-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h2 class=\"widget-title\">3.
